Good information and the comments below give this helpful context. If you want to up the quality of your presentations I have a helpful suggestion: film your locations without talking and concentrate on moving the camera sloooooowly. Then when you go to edit, add your own commentary. It will take 30 minutes more but will be soooo much more enjoyable for your followers to experience.

Dear Gabriel when you don't know pretty well some cities like Quito of course the prices are more exaggerated, but you can find bigger breakfast for 3 Usd or less
Also the zone that you visited is obviously the most expensive of Quito.
The other thing is a bottle of water here in my country cost 0,50 cents and strawberries one pound for almost 1,00.
And please you had to visit the real Quito no where everything cost double..

Meh, you were a walking gringo price target. 30 cents for water, $2.00 for breakfast, $2.50 for lunch. Oh, and mora is basically a S American raspberry.

Street vendors you negotiate, they will usually use "gringo" prices when they see you. The strawberries is an example, that may have easily been bought for 1 dollar.

The old lady charged you too much for water. Next time I go to Quito I will tell her that she was been recorded and how uncool her action was. For the benefit of future tourists, the country and herself.

The woman with the fruit had CHIRIMOYAS! So yummy! When you bought strawberries I thought "Oh no! He is not buying chirimoyas!" It's the green skin heart shaped fruit. It is so delicious!

Hey so I was just looking back at your Nepal videos and have been researching the Himalayas for a while now and was thinking would it be possible to sneak around from say India into Nepal and maybe eventually into Tibet etc. I would do it the legal way but i know you can only stay for a limited time and with the Himalayas and Tibet being such a big area I would like to take my time and see it all even if it takes a couple years. BTW i don't mind living off of rice or blending in with the locals etc I have the right equipment and enough money too,I just want to live free without all these restrictions.
