    And not too long in the future , each such huge building will act like a
    self sufficient unit of its own with shopping, hospital, dwelling etc. And
    the top floors will be occupied by drug cartels. Until Judge Dredd arrives

    turn them into town centers with terrace housing and a main street. (this

    Have any of these abandoned malls been turned into skate parks, because
    usually around these places you see skateboarding kids. Perhaps they’re
    just looking for someplace to skate because the lack of rinks?

    I’d like to call this new-world-problems
    The USA has just too much space. Abanndoned buildings/estates in Europe
    that are acquirable and can be taken to an economical use are contested.

    The mall 5 mins from my house is half the size and sucks. So we’d rather go
    1 hour away to the big mall
