Traveling from Bangkok to Saigon, Vietnam

I decided to go to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam for a few weeks, with a main mission to eat, and to make a video about some of the top things to do in the city. Here's my first travel…

I always get excited whenever there is a new video from you! Chợ Bến Thành
closes at night but the night market will be around 🙂 As a Vietnamese, I
highly recommend you to do some research for some “secret hideouts” for
snails; GREAT and adventurous taste for non-locals. Bến Thành does have
some stations that sells snails but very pricey! Whereas those “secret
hideouts” around the city will offer many dishes for less amount of money
🙂 I hope you have tons of fun! I currently reside in the USA so watching
this video reminds me the crowded atmosphere of Saigon

Mark, very similar to NYC except for the motor bikes. NYC has taxis….many
of them. Thanks for taking us along.

I’m so jealous. It’s lunch time here and I’m going to eat a grilled cheese
sandwich and chili. When I think of what you just ate my grilled cheese
just doesn’t seem right. Even tho your videos make me feel like I’m with
you being here in Missouri just doesn’t cut it. Can’t wait for your next
Vietnam video. Vietnam is a country I have always wanted to visit. Maybe
one day. Keep up the great work.

Hey Mark – are you still in Saigon? We were there just a couple of months
back and LOVED the food. We would highly recommend the Saigon food tour.
Even wrote an ode to some of our favourite dishes. Here’s the link – hope
    you enjoy it 🙂 http://www.bruisedpassports.com/wheres/street-food-vietnam

I don’t like the first hotel either. The hallway looks so creepy with no
windows and white. Just my way of view, I stayed in a similarity hotel as
yours, and I was not happy with it. :/

You should go to 433 Ly Thai To street, Dist 10 for traditional Beef Soup
aka Phở. I hope you will come there and give it a try.
